Kyeon Mi-Ri is a South Korean actress and singer, best known for her role in Dae Jang Geum as the main antagonist Lady Choi.

Kyeon Mi-Ri's role in the period drama Dae Jang Geum brought her to the attention of fans in East Asia and South East Asia, including regions like Japan, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, the Philippines and Singapore.
She made her debut on South Korean Television in 1984 as an actress. She studied ballet in Sejong University (세종대학교,世宗大學校) but gave up her major.
In 2009, she ventured into the music industry and released her first album titled Happy Women, consisting of mainly trot songs.[4]
